Love Doesn't Care...

About what color or what gender you are it simply just wants to be needed.

If you are not the one who is in love with the same sex then to be honest your opinion shouldn't matter. I support gay marriage 100%. What I am trying to say is; if your not gay then why do you get to vote on legalizing gay marriage? This is not the old days this is 2012 for goodness sake. If I am able to walk down the aisle to the man I love, why can't gay or lesbian men and women? Oh wait it's because your afraid that you'll feel uncomfortable? Get over yourselves! It's not your life so don't try to run it. We understand that you are bored and need a hobby but, this all reminds me of bullies in high school. You don't like it so you choose to pick on the outcasts. Just accept it because gay relationships aren't going away.

When I was your age, black Americans were forced to ride in the back of the bus and use separate restrooms. The youth of America saw the wrongs in this treatment of our fellow Americans and changed it. Women were considered not as valuable as men in many circles, even though they were better educated and better thinkers. This is changing because the youth of the nation said this is wrong. Making Americans who don't have the same sexual orientation as others feel inferior is no different, and the youth of this nation will see to it that this discrimination ends. Gay & Lesbian Americans have and continue to contribute greatly to this nation and it's communities. Your very mature post, Bekka, is a step in the right direction for equal treatment of all Americans!! Thanks for the great post.

Why does anyone need to be married? Seems like alot of same sex marriage started because the gov't said your not married so.. no you can not be on the insurance or when it came to one person passing there were all kind of legal issues as to who gets what when the partner of years got nothing. I really believe that if two people are dedicated to one another and sharing a house and responsibilities then it doesn't matter what sex they are! Whether I am for or against gay marriage is not the issue.
